*Martindale/ Abrassion rub test are undertaken in USA & UK to ensure the durability of a fabric. In this method, small discs of worsted wool or wire mesh (the abradant) are continually rubbed against the test specimens in an oscillating circular manner. The fabric is continually inspected for wear and tear, and the test ends when two yarns break or when there is a noticeable change in appearance. Hence each fabric piece has very high durability making the product long lasting.
